The Second World War was just ending when a Nepalese Bhikkhu returned home to test the situation; he found no one was giving him any trouble. Before long, some Nepalese Bhikkhus and Nuns in Kushinagar, bearing the powers of Triple Gems foremost in their minds, left for their homeland to carry on with the promotion of Therawada Buddhism. Saradawpharagree arranged to send some Bhikkhus to Myanmar and some to Sri Lanka to improve their education and knowledge of the religion. In Kathmandu, Ashin Dhammaloka took charge of building a Therawada Buddhist temple. Another temple `Yanmingala Vihara' was built in the same city where Ashin Buddhaghosa took charge as the Head Bhikkhu. In India, Sangha Vihara Temple and Ratanazawti Vihara Temple were built in the town of Patna followed by Sakyamuni Vihara in the town of Battagy, Mahapantatha Temple in the village of Barnipa and Dhammananda Vihara in the village of Durisae.

Similarly in Nepal, many temples were built in various places. The King of Nepal donated one hundred thousand rupees to the Dhamawdayasaba Association to build more Buddhist rests for use by Therawada Buddhists. Ashin Dhammaloka and Ashin Amittarnanda, both Nepalese nationals, played leading roles in the building programme. In order to collect more donations for the new buildings, Ashin Amittarnanda went to China and from there he collected over eight hundred thousand rupees. Thus, Therawada Buddhism came to thrive in Nepal and Buddha Sasana was seen to be improving.
